We always encourage people who create with our faces to send us images of their completed work or even works in progress if they would like to share their process. And with the launch of our new website we had our first artist send us some lovely examples of her work. May I introduce to you the work of Margaret E. Newman. One of the things I love about what she shared with us is the variety of uses she found for the face. Thank you so much Margaret for sharing your creativity with us!

Lady Peacock – This is a cloth doll with wired arms/legs for poesability. She now resides at the Uncanny Gallery.
Lady Peacock – The back shows the bead embroidery I did to “cover” her feathers, but the photo does not do the jewels justice. One is a “crystal” rivoli along with 2 turquoise cabs.

Thank you so much for this opportunity to show my creative “work”!! It is my “play time” and also so good for my psyche! I thank you! I do so love the faces created by Diane.
Thank you Maggie. It makes my Mom happy to know that her faces can inspire and bring joy to others. Your creations mean more to her than you know. 🙂
Art is healing. Thank you for your comment.
